Private/Semi-Private Hockey Lessons (1-4 Athletes) Hockey lessons are conducted in a controlled setting and a time to train technique, skills, & themes often overlooked in clinics & team practices.
Hockey Lessons are specifically designed and drills are catered for the athlete(s) partaking in the session. Coach Christian will pinpoint needs of improvement, as well as build upon the athletes’ strengths.
30 min. lessons recommended for youth athletes U8-U10. 60 min. lessons encouraged for athletes U10+ who have a firm grasp of skating, puck handling and shooting.
It is important to understand private lesson ice time is limited due to rink availability.
Small Group Sessions (4-6 Athletes) Small group sessions are a hybrid of private lessons and clinics. Drill and exercise selection will not be exclusive to one athlete, but designed for the group at hand.
Sessions train skating, stickhandling and shooting. The game of hockey is played alongside and against other athletes, so sessions evolve to incorporate multi-person passing, situational decision making, and battling.
These are sessions are reserved for older, elite hockey athletes of similar abilities and drive.
Sessions are generally invite only and occur during the Spring/Summer months.
Clinics (10-30 Athletes) Hockey Gainz clinics are typically offered and targeted for specific age groups & skill levels. It is imperative to choose the clinic advertised for one’s specific age/skill level. Coach Christian will advise if unsure.
Clinics have specific advertised themes and will cater drills around that theme.
Athletes looking to attend a Hockey Gainz clinic must have a firm understanding of skating, puckhandling, and shooting. Athletes will be worked hard but smart.
